We designed and built a bespoke ERP shaped around how the company actually works — generating quotes, managing orders through production, and creating invoices, with every step in between handled in one system.

The result

The business now runs end-to-end on software built for it: software that powers the company from generating quotes to creating invoices, with all the steps in between smoothly handled — and a long-term partnership that keeps it evolving.

A fast, welcoming website that brings new players through the door

St Andrews Chess Club

The challenge

St Andrews Chess Club wanted to grow its membership across all ages and abilities, but had no real online home — so prospective players struggled to find them, see when sessions ran, or feel confident about turning up.

What we built

We designed and built a fast, distinctive marketing website on modern web technology, hosted on Microsoft Azure: mobile-first, with clear session times, a friendly “come and play” call to action, and clean technical SEO so local searches for chess in Hull actually surface the club.

The result

The club now has a polished online presence that loads in milliseconds, reads beautifully on any device and is built to rank for local searches — turning curious visitors into people who show up on club night. It’s also the live example we point to on our Website Development page.

The challenge

UK tradies routinely quote jobs without knowing their real margins — costs are scattered across receipts, invoices and memory, and profitability only becomes clear (or doesn’t) long after the job is done.

What we built

We designed, built and launched MarginPal as our own product: an AI-powered quote, job and margin app for trades, with receipt scanning and live margin tracking — taken from idea to production on the same process we use for client work.

The result

MarginPal is live and growing — and it is the strongest proof we can offer: we don’t just build software for other people’s businesses, we back our own process enough to build products of our own on it.
