Our Development Process
How do we get you from initial contact to a full software solution?
Client-driven approach
Software development is a very complex field, so starting a project can be daunting for you as a customer. Our development approach is tailored to ask pointed questions to our clients during the design phase, that way we get the information we need to develop a solution - but the big picture stays in your hands. We suggest technologies that could help bring your vision to life.
Step 1 - Initial Consultation
What do you need? How do you want your business to transform?
Tell us the difference you’d like this new software to make to your business. What goals do you have? What challenges do you currently face?
Our goal here is to understand your business, and put a picture together with how we can help.
Step 2 - Discovery
Let’s get the creative juices flowing! Here we come up with the ideas needed to make your vision possible.
In this phase, we may out things such as the product architecture, processes, people and key features.
We’ll supply you afterwards with UX designs and wireframes, so you can finally see your project on a screen.
Step 3 - Product Backlog
This is our time to shine. We put together a list of all the features and processes you’d like to see in the software. Our master list of what to code!
We make sure we’re on the same page as you. That way we’re going in the right direction from the start.
This list goes into our internal tools, which our coders will then use throughout the development phase.
Step 4 - Sprint Schedule
Let’s get to building!
Codira follows an Agile development strategy.
This allows us to be flexible if things change. We go live with different stages, how many depends on the size of the software, to allow for feedback before launch
Step 5 - Maintenance
We’ve launched your product successfully - now it’s time for refinement
Your product is live and hosted in one of our Cloud-based architecture partners.
Now we have the opportunity to refine any fine details that have stuck out along the way. With a product maintenance or continued development contract - everything is possible for the future!
